Our governance guidelines

As one of Australia's leading superannuation funds, we take our responsibilities as a shareholder and a fiduciary very seriously. The guidelines we follow have been developed to improve transparency of conduct, extend accountability to shareholders and minimise conflicts of interest.

We have adopted the Australian Council of Super Investors Inc. (ACSI) Corporate Governance Guidelines as the model for corporate governance within UniSuper. These guidelines strengthen the accountability of corporate boards and management to shareholders. We also refer to the ASX Corporate Governance Guidelines and other best practice guides to ensure that UniSuper's governance standards meet both industry and community expectations.

As a not-for-profit superannuation organisation, we recognise that not all of the guidelines are relevant. However, we remain committed to achieving the highest standard of internal corporate governance wherever appropriate.
