about us

Respecting our stakeholders
It’s important to us to ensure that we appropriately look after your interests. Find out how we make this happen.
Respecting our stakeholders
We regularly communicate with our stakeholders (including our members and employers) to ensure that their interests are appropriately represented. One of our key aims is to give you access to clear and balanced information about UniSuper and our practices so that you can make informed decisions.
Your interests are represented
Our Board includes representatives of both employers and employees from Australia's higher education and research sector. This means they understand your requirements for a super fund that can support you throughout your career and into your retirement. UniSuper members are also represented through the Consultative Committee. For more information, see Our People.
Regular communication
We're committed to providing regular updates about UniSuper to ensure transparency and increase engagement with our stakeholders. We make sure you receive regular updates through our annual reports and extensive online resources. For example:
- Our annual Report to Members provides information about our directors, including their remuneration and directorships in investee companies. It also details our overall performance in the previous financial year. This includes any changes that have occurred – both at UniSuper, and within the superannuation industry – that may affect you.
- Participating employers and Consultative Committee members receive a copy of the Report to Shareholders, which provides detailed information on UniSuper's operations, including a copy of our financial reports.
- UniSuper's full annual accounts are available to members and employers on request.
Technology has made communication simpler and faster, so you can interact with us electronically if you like. For example, our publications and regular UniSuper updates are available on this website.
