An employee has chosen UniSuper - now what?
Find out exactly what you need to do for an employee who has chosen UniSuper. And where to go if you have any questions.
Employer responsibilities
If your employee has chosen UniSuper as their super fund of choice, it’s easy to make contributions on their behalf. UniSuper can accept contributions from any employer on behalf of an existing UniSuper member.
Making your first payment
Making your first contribution payment to UniSuper is simple.
- Download the Choice of fund contribution schedule.
- Complete your contribution details for each employee and attach a cheque payable to UniSuper Limited.
- Send the completed form and cheque to us.
As soon as we receive your first contribution, we'll send you a receipt plus your UniSuper Employer Number, so you can make ongoing payments using BPAY.
Make ongoing payments
Ongoing payments can be made by cheque or electronically using BPAY. To use BPAY you must:
- have a UniSuper Employer number
- pay any contribution amount between $50 and $450,000, and
- make separate payments for each employee.
Your BPAY reference number is made up of your UniSuper employer number plus your employee's UniSuper member number. There should be no spaces between the two sets of numbers.
