SuperPay

SuperPay is a secure online facility that enables employers to register, record and submit contribution details. Employers can make a single payment, regardless of the number of employees who have nominated UniSuper as their chosen super fund.

After your first contribution is received and processed, you’ll receive a SuperPay welcome pack containing your login details and a quick reference guide.

If you use SuperPay, you can choose from three payment methods: BPAY, electronic funds transfer (EFT) or cheque.

SuperPay option 1 - BPAY

If you choose to use BPAY, your funds will be transferred using your nominated financial institution’s online BPAY process. This can be done online or over the phone.

SuperPay BPAY biller code: 50948
SuperPay BPAY reference number: A new number is automatically generated
                                                                   for each contribution.

SuperPay option 2 - EFT

If you choose to pay by electronic funds transfer (EFT), your funds will be transferred from your nominated financial institution account to UniSuper’s financial institution account.

In order to make EFT payments you must have an Australian Payments Clearing Association (APCA) ID. You can obtain an APCA ID by contacting your financial institution. You will then need to contact UniSuper and provide your APCA ID and financial institution account details.

SuperPay option 3 - cheque

To pay by cheque, you must generate a receipt from SuperPay. Then send the receipt together with a cheque made payable to UniSuper Limited to UniSuper, Level 37, 385 Bourke Street, Melbourne VIC 3000.

The default payment option on all SuperPay accounts is BPAY. This can be altered by calling the UniSuper HelpLine on 1800 331 685.

Alternative contribution methods

If you would prefer not to use SuperPay, you can make contributions on behalf of employees in one of two ways: by cheque or by BPAY.

Alternative option 1 - cheque

To make contributions by cheque, simply continue the process you followed when making your first employer contribution to UniSuper.

Alternative option 2 - BPAY

If you choose to use BPAY, your funds will be transferred using your nominated financial institution’s online BPAY process. This can be done online or over the phone.

Your BPAY reference number is made up of your UniSuper employer number plus your employee's UniSuper member number. There should be no spaces between the two sets of numbers.

Employer number: 123456
Employee number: 999999999
BPAY reference number: 123456999999999

The BPAY biller code will depend on the type of employer contribution that you are making.

Superannuation guarantee biller code: 78543
Additional employer contribution biller code: 78527

Please note that when using this payment method (using BPAY outside of SuperPay), your contributions are limited to amounts between $50 and $450,000. You must also make separate BPAY payments for each employee.

Fees

UniSuper does not charge a fee for making contributions with BPAY. However, your financial institution may charge you a fee for using this facility.
