It’s easy to make UniSuper your default fund. Just follow these simple steps.

Making UniSuper your default fund

You can make UniSuper your default super fund if your business or organisation falls into one of three categories:

1. a university or a university college
2. a body associated with a university or a university college, or
3. a body otherwise engaged in higher education.

Traditionally, we've provided superannuation services to organisations categorised as a college or university, but you may also be eligible if your organisation has a genuine link to Australia’s higher education and research sector – eg. institutes, co-operative research centres, commercial spin-off companies, academic committees and industry boards.

How to join

It's easy.

1. Contact UniSuper's Executive Manager, Marketing and Business Development on (03) 9910 6100 or email newemployer@unisuper.com.au
2. Complete and return the application form we send you.
3. Once your application is approved by the Trustee, a Deed of Covenant with UniSuper will be signed, formalising the arrangement.
4. An Employer Services Consultant will be assigned to you. Your consultant will arrange your access to the secure section of our website, explain our online payments system, SuperGate, clarify our procedures and be your ongoing point of contact with UniSuper.
