Make UniSuper your organisation's default fund

It's easy to make UniSuper your default fund, simply follow the steps below.

Making UniSuper your default fund

You can make UniSuper your default super fund under Choice of Fund legislation if your business or organisation falls into one of these three categories:

  1. A university or university college
  2. A body which in the opinion of the Trustee is in any way associated with a university or university college, or
  3. A body otherwise engaged in higher education (or any related or incidental purpose which is approved by the Trustee for participation in UniSuper). For example, a co-operative research centre, commercial spin-off company or academic committee.

To make UniSuper your default super fund, you must become a participating employer to UniSuper.

How to become a participating employer to UniSuper

It's easy, simply:

  1. Contact the Employer Relations team on (03) 9910 6100 or email newemployer@unisuper.com.au
  2. Complete and return the application form in our Super to suit your business booklet.
  3. If your application to become a participating employer is approved by the Trustee, you must sign a Deed of Covenant to formalise the arrangement.
