UniSuper’s socially responsible investment options give you the opportunity to direct your super investment toward companies with socially responsible investment practices.

You have two options to choose from: Socially Responsible Balanced and Socially Responsible High Growth.

Both options have been certified by the Responsible Investment Association Australasia (RIAA).

The Certification Symbol signifies that a product or service offers an investment style that takes into account environmental, social, governance or ethical considerations. The Symbol also signifies that UniSuper has adopted strict disclosure and education practices required under the Responsible Investment Certification Program for the category of Superannuation Fund. The Certification Symbol is a Registered Trade Mark of the Responsible Investment Association Australasia (RIAA). How we select socially responsible investments

UniSuper effectively adopts a best of sector approach (and excludes the tobacco sector altogether) and this approach is applied consistently across both the domestic and international equities components of our two socially responsible options. These options are both passively managed.
