Making a claim

Making a claim for an optional insurance benefit or an inbuilt benefit (if you are a DBD or Accumulation 2 member) is simple. Just follow the steps.

How to make a claim

If you wish to make claim for:

• an optional insurance benefit for death, disablement, terminal illness or income protection, or
• an inbuilt benefit for death, terminal medical condition, disablement or temporary incapacity,

you will need to complete a number of forms. These can be obtained by calling the UniSuper Helpline on 1800 331 685.

Claims should be made promptly after the event that caused the claim, as delays may affect the amount of benefit payable.
