Search Tips

Try these search tips to assist you in searching our website.

Search words

Type your query in the text box next to "Search Keywords". Your query can be a word(s), phrase, question or other set of characters. Your query can be up to 100 characters long.

When entering your search words be as specific as you can. For example – ‘award contributions’ rather than ‘contributions’. Enter words that you think will specifically appear in the title or content of the page. Our search tool finds content from every page.

Our search is not case-sensitive. For example “DASP” compared to "dasp" will return the same search results.

The wildcard symbol * can match words with any number of characters within a given prefix. For example: esc* will match terms ESC, escape and *vest* will return results for: investments, vested etc.

Search options

The Search tool matches words in your query to words in its index. You can decide if you want Search to match:

Any words

Use this option to search for pages with any of the search words you specify. This is the least specific type of search. This option returns at least one occurrence of at least one of the words you entered. If you are having trouble getting results for your query, use this option.

All words

Use this option to search for pages with all the search words you specify. This option returns results that contain at least one occurrence of every word or phrase you enter. Search will automatically filter out common words like: a, an, and, the, as etc.

Exact phrase

Use this option to search for a specific string of words or a specific phrase. This option returns only those results which contain at least one occurrence of the extract string of words or phase in the exact order you entered them.

Search results

Search will return the maximum results available every time. By default, it will display the results in groups of 10, unless you specify otherwise, on separate web pages. Results of the highest order of relevance are listed first and are indicated by displaying the most orange squares. The Search navigator indicates your location in the list of results.

There is no function within this Search tool to refine your search results once search results for your query have been displayed.

Highlight results

This option will highlight your search words within the search results. This may assist you in determining why particular results have been displayed.
