What we're doing
We’ve partnered with CareerSeekers to provide work experience for asylum seekers. This strengthens the mix of skills and experience within our business and gives an important point of entry for refugees and asylum seekers into professional life in Australia.
We offer flexible working arrangements where possible so we can attract a diverse talent pool. We believe your output and productivity is more important than the hours you spend at your desk. Anyone can request a flexible working arrangement to help them balance how, when and where they work with their personal circumstances.
UniSuper’s Indigenous Super Working Group looks to better understand the needs and super-related challenges of our indigenous members. Educational outcomes leading to wage disparities, increased health challenges and lower life expectancies all contribute to less opportunity for our indigenous members in Australia’s compulsory superannuation system. Our working group aims to develop initiatives that help our indigenous members overcome some of the unique challenges they face when saving for their retirement.
We conduct pay equity analysis, participate in research and action groups to look at closing the gender wage gap and creating a more diverse and equal workforce.
