We’ve been named the top-performing super fund over 10 years by research houses Chant West and SuperRatings.
Our Balanced option took the no.1 spot over a 10-year period in Chant West’s and Super Ratings'*recent surveys, which tracked long-term performance of Australian super funds (to 30 June 2018).
Our Chief Executive Officer Kevin O’Sullivan said that 2017/18 was an excellent year for us, with the UniSuper Accumulation 1 Balanced option returning 10.45% for the year ending 30 June 2018, but pointed out that members should also take a long-term view.
“It’s difficult not to be distracted by short-term performance movements but given super is a long-term investment, it’s important we deliver strong long-term performance to our members – this is ultimately in their best interests and a key driver for our investment decisions.”
Our recent Spotlight on investments market update from Chief Investment Officer John Pearce provides a more detailed explanation of the drivers of recent investment performance.
Both Chant West and SuperRatings assess the pool of hundreds of Australian super funds including both retail and industry funds in their monthly assessment of investment performance across the industry.
