A non-participating employer is an employer that hasn't signed an agreement with UniSuper to participate in the fund. A non-participating employer can still make contributions for existing UniSuper Accumulation 1 members, but can't sign up new members.
Through SuperStream, employers can make all their contributions in a single transaction, even if they're going to multiple super funds. So any choice of fund contributions, including those you direct to UniSuper, can be made in the same efficient process as your default contributions.
Employers can choose from a few options to process contributions. Your payroll system provider or default fund may offer a SuperStream-compliant method for submitting contributions, or you can engage a clearing house to submit compliant contributions on your behalf. Find out more.
When to make contributions to UniSuper
You must send employer contributions to us at least quarterly. This is required under superannuation guarantee legislation. You need to remit the payments to us by the cut-off date for each quarter.
