Through our industry leading in-house investment team, we manage over 70% of our funds. We choose external investment managers to manage assets where it makes sense to do so.
How does UniSuper choose external investment managers?
We select our external investment managers based on their investment expertise, the quality and stability of their teams and their track record of delivering strong long-term returns*.
We also consider their:
- ability to monitor and assess environmental, social and governance (ESG) considerations and integrate these into their analysis
- competitive fees
- internal controls and risk management
- commitment to working with us over the long-term.
Once an external investment manager is appointed, we regularly monitor them.
