IFM Investors and UniSuper partner with PRP Diagnostic Imaging

We’ve acquired a private equity interest in PRP together with IFM Investors, adding to our ever-growing $10 billion private markets portfolio. PRP is a great value investment with strong growth prospects—it aligns with our strategy to invest in quality, unique assets for our members and adds to our growing stable of health care investments.

Our investment in PRP will sit within our pre-mixed investment options, including our sustainable options.

What services does PRP provide?

PRP is a leading provider of high-quality diagnostic imaging such as x-rays, ultrasounds and mammograms and other specialised medical services.

It operates 25 practices in Sydney and across New South Wales with 70 radiologists. They strive to bring together the best science, technology and diagnostic medicine for patients while keeping its services convenient and affordable.

We can’t wait to work with PRP doctors and management to support the next stage of their growth.

Fun fact – what is private equity?

Private equity is an investment in unlisted privately owned companies. It’s different to listed equities, which are investments in shares of companies listed on the stock exchange.
